Terms & Conditions

At Easi Bakes I am committed to excellence and want your experience with me to run as smoothly as possible. Please read the information below as a guide to the service I provide. When making an order it is assumed you have agreed to the terms below.

Orders & Payment

Upon your enquiry, I will send you a quote via email. Please be sure to check your junk mail folder. If you wish to go ahead with the booking, an invoice will be sent with details of how to pay. Full payment is required to secure your date and until payment has been received, I cannot guarantee your booking. Please can I ask that payment is made within 48 hours of details being sent, otherwise your date may be given to somone else. If it is after the 48 hour period, please check with me that your date is still available.

Deposits will be accepted for larger events such as weddings and will be discussed on an individual basis.

Should you wish to make any changes to the size or design of your cake, this will need to be completed 14 days before the order is due. After this time, alterations cannot be made. Please be aware that any alterations may affect the balance and will be adjusted accordingly.

You have the right to cancel your order at any time and may be entitled to a refund:

75% refund within 30 days of your collection date

50% refund within 14 days of your collection date

No refund for less than 14 days of your collection date

Ingredients

All of my cakes are made in a kitchen that stores and handles nuts, dairy and gluten, however not all cakes will contain these ingredients. You will be asked upon your enquiry if there are any allergens I should be aware of and it is your responsibility to inform me prior to the confirmation of your booking. It is also your responsibility to inform others that will be consuming the cake of the allergens included. This will be clearly labelled on your cake for your information. I cannot be held liable for any allergic reaction resulting from consumption of the cake or for any ingredients contaminated at source

Collection & Delivery

Cakes are collected from my home address and are always boxed for transportation. You will be provided with full instructions on how to handle and care for your cake. It is your responsibility to check the product before leaving my premises, as I do not take any responsibility for damages that may occur to the cake once it has left my address. If a third party is collecting, you assume responsibility for the condition of the cake once it leaves Easi bakes.

 Delivery is available on request within a 30 mile radius and will be charged accordingly.

Cupcake Bouquets

All bouquets are made to order and colours or small details may be subject to variation. Although every effort is made to recreate prior bouquets on request, they can never be exactly the same.

Full payment is required upon booking and any alterations or changes are subject to the same conditions as above.

Cupcake bouquets are not boxed for collection, but are stable enough to travel in the passenger foot well. Information on how to store your cupcakes will be given on collection and in order to enjoy your cakes at their best, they should be consumed within 24 to 36 hours from collection.

Class Workshops

Class workshops will take place at my home and can be booked via email. All equipment is provided and it is recommended that you bring your own apron. It is requested that classes are paid for in full upon booking in order to secure your place. Again, please send payment within 48 hours of receiving my bank details, otherwise your place may be given to someone else. If you cancel this booking for any reason, you can re-book within 6 months on another workshop. Refunds will only be issued if you cancel more than 2 weeks prior to the class. Cancellations less than 2 weeks of the class will not receive a refund. I reserve the right to cancel a workshop for whatever reason, and in such circumstances, all monies will be refunded

Stand Hire

The hire charge for a tiered stand is £20 with a £30 refundable deposit. This is payable with your final cake payment. It is asked that the stand be returned no later than 3 days after the event, as it may be required for another client. Your deposit will then be refunded within 48hours, providing the stand hasn’t been damaged or is missing any parts. Should this be the case, your deposit will be surrendered.

Photographs

The process of making your cake and the final product will be photographed or filmed and may be used on my social media sites to demonstrate the services I provide. Please be assured that this will only appear online after collection or your event

Complaints

In the unlikely event that you have a complaint about your cake or cupcakes, please inform me within 24 hours of collection or delivery, so that I may have the opportunity to resolve matters immediately. If there are any complaints about the design or the appearance of the products, they must be expressed at the point of collection or delivery, so that I may be given the opportunity to eradicate these. If the complaint relates to the quality of the cake, at least 75% of the cake must be returned to me within 48 hours to ensure a fair assessment of the nature of the complaint and determine what course of action will be taken. No refund will be given if the cake is not returned or has been eaten and any refunds will be given entirely at my discretion.
